ESF DEEP provides 15 grants for Young Scientists to support their attendance at SAME11 Symposium on Aqutic Microbial Ecology 2009, Piran, Slovenia.

The amount of the Grants is 200 EUR.

REGULATIONS

A young scientist intending to participate at the SAME11 Symposium 2009 should:

• Be younger than 36 years of age at the closing date of the meeting;
• Be a working microbiologist; 
• Be the presenting author of an accepted abstract and attend the congress; 
• Grantees who do not attend the congress will not be given the grant.
  

Applications which are not completed will not be handled.

Grants Board will review and judge the applications based on:

• the applicant’s profile/standing,
• the quality of the accepted abstract,
• the probable impact of the meeting, both nationally and internationally.
